How to put two videos on one screen

Choose two local videos. Put the clip you want left or on top in First video.
Pick layout and canvas. Choose side by side or stacked, then landscape, portrait or square. Set fit/crop and an optional gap.
Choose the ending and sound. Select the shorter or longer duration and the audio source.
Preview the composition. Check faces, text and objects near each panel edge. Listen to the selected soundtrack and watch how the shorter clip ends.
Export and review the MP4. Keep the tab open, play the generated result and download it. Changing an input or setting clears the previous export.

Example: compare two versions of a demonstration

Suppose the first take lasts six seconds and the second lasts ten. Shortest gives a six-second comparison. Longest gives ten seconds, with the first panel black for the last four. Use Fit entire frame if both versions contain labels near the edges; use Crop to fill only after checking what gets removed.

To line up a shared starting moment, trim each video first. For a different framing, crop a source clip. To play clips one after another, use Merge Videos. You can prepare sound with Audio Fade and Volume, or browse all free tools.

Are my videos uploaded or charged credits?

No. Preview and export run on your device, without an account or credits. The page may download processing code, but does not upload your clips. Download the result before leaving.

How many videos and layouts can I use?

Exactly two videos in equal panels, side by side or stacked vertically. The first file goes left or above; the second goes right or below. This tool does not offer a floating picture-in-picture inset or multi-clip grid.

What output sizes are available?

Landscape is 1280 × 720, portrait is 720 × 1280 and square is 1080 × 1080. These are the dimensions of the combined canvas. Choose a black gap of 0, 8, 16 or 32 pixels between panels.

Should I fit the whole frame or crop to fill?

Fit entire frame keeps each clip visible and leaves black space where needed. Crop to fill fills each panel from the center, cutting away edges. The same setting applies to both clips; there is no manual pan or zoom control.

What happens when one clip ends first?

Shortest clip ends the output when the shorter clip finishes. Longest keeps the other playing while the finished panel becomes black. The shorter clip is not frozen or repeated.

Which soundtrack will I hear?

Choose the first video, the second, both at 50% volume each, or mute. The tool does not automatically balance different recording levels. Choose one source if overlapping dialogue is distracting.

Does it synchronize two camera recordings?

Both clips start from their own beginning at the same time. There is no automatic audio synchronization or start-offset control. Prepare their starting points before importing if a particular action must line up.

What are the input and export limits?

Each video can be up to 250 MiB and 10 minutes. Your browser must decode both sources and support WebCodecs video encoding. Export is H.264 MP4 at 30 fps, so picture quality and file size can change. Two-video processing needs device memory.
