Example: make a falling object jump back up
In a 20-second recording, the object falls between seconds 4 and 7. Select that interval and mute the sound if the backward impact sounds odd. Preview checks the original fall; after processing, the result shows the object rising. Only the selected moment is downloaded.

Reversal changes time order. To swap left and right or fix sideways footage, use Rotate Video. For forward-then-backward motion, choose Boomerang in Loop Video. To reduce a large source first, trim the video. Browse all free tools for other edits.

Can I keep the sound playing forward?
The choices are reversed sound or mute. Reversed speech will sound backward too; there is no separate forward-audio mode. If no audio track is detected, the result is silent.
Does a reversed section stay inside the full video?
No. Selecting seconds 4–7 exports only that roughly three-second interval backward. Footage before second 4 and after second 7 is not included.
Does export change quality or speed?
The result is re-encoded as H.264 MP4 with AAC when sound is included. Quality and size may change. There is no slow-motion or speed setting; the effect reverses playback order.
Why can a long video fail or take time?
Reversal buffers decoded frames, and the original file also uses browser memory. Capacity depends on your device, resolution and duration. Start with a short clip or a shorter selection.
